“Today, on December 5th, we celebrate the International Volunteer Day.
So once again we would like to express our gratitude to all the volunteers who have supported us for years in organizing the biggest running event in the Silesian Voivodeship. This year, 700 people volunteered during the jubilee 15th edition Silesia Marathon.
Without your help, your energy, and your smiles, Silesia Marathon wouldn’t be what it is today. Your presence along the race course, involvement in organizing aid stations, at the race office where you distribute thousands of packets to the runners, at the deposit, and at the finish line, where you’ve been active since the early morning hours, all contribute to the success of the entire event.
We thank you for your involvement, for your readiness to help, and for creating a unique atmosphere that motivates runners along the course during their toughest moments, as they have often written on social media
On the occasion of International Volunteer Day, we wish you that the kindness you share with us and the athletes returns to you.
