Why capital of the Silesian Voivodeship, why Katowice?
Strefa Kultury is now an integral part of the Katowice landscape—a place that is hard to imagine without iconic buildings like the Silesian Museum, the International Congress Center, and the seat of the National Symphony Orchestra of Polish Radio (NOSPR). The oldest runners remember the times when a coal mine named “Katowice” operated in this place, and one of its remnants is the “Warsaw” shaft tower. Today, we witness an extraordinary transformation, supported by European funds.
Registration for the races begins on January 18 and lasts until April 20. It’s worth taking up the challenge today and marking May 1 on your running calendar.
In addition to the sporting excitement and satisfaction at the finish line, we guarantee every participant a commemorative T-shirt, which you will find in the starting package at no additional cost.
