On October 5th, 2025, thousands of runners from Poland and abroad will take part in the marathon for the seventeenth time. Once again, the race will start and finish at the National Athletics Stadium – the Silesian Stadium. Two additional races will be held: the Silesia Halfmarathon and the 50-kilometer Silesia Ultramarathon.
Run along a route that leads through the streets of four Silesian cities: Katowice, Siemianowice Śląskie, Mysłowice, and Chorzów. The Silesia Marathon is the largest running event in Silesia and one of the biggest mass sports events in Poland. With unforgettable atmosphere, thousands of spectators supporting participants along the route, excellent organization by the dedicated team, and the “diamond” of Polish marathons – the finish line on the legendary “Witche`s Cauldron” track.
