Frequently Asked Questions

Below, we explain several matters related to organizing the event.
Before you call or send us a question, please read the race regulations and check if you can find the answer to your question below.

Yes, all our race courses have certifications. The marathon and half marathon courses are certified by the IAAF (International Association of Athletics Federations) and the Polish Athletics Association (PZLA). The ultramarathon course is certified by the Polish Athletics Association (PZLA).

Yes, the finish of the Silesia Marathon 2024 will take place on the track of the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów.

Registration is open from December 15, 2023 to September 10, 2024.
If the limit of participants is reached, registration may close earlier. If race numbers are still available, additional numbers will be available from September 11 to 21.

Until August 31, 2024, you can log in to your registration account and change the race distance. If, at the time of changing the distance, the registration fee for the new distance is higher, you will need to pay the difference. However, if the fee for the new distance is lower than what you have already paid, no refund will be provided.

Note: After August 31, 2024, changing the race distance will not be possible regardless of circumstances (injuries or other unforeseen events).

Payments are made after registering on the race website. To do this, log in to your account on the race website, go to the payment page by clicking the “Pay” button. You can use credit card payment or online transfer to most banks. There is also an option to generate a completed bank transfer form. You can save or print this form at home. The “Bank Transfer” function in the “Online Transfers” group is used to generate the bank transfer form. Online payment processing is handled in partnership with PayU.

If your bank is not listed, please select the option for bank transfer/postal transfer and make the payment to the generated bank account number by copying the details from the generated printout.

You can pay for the race entry fee with VISA and MasterCard credit cards, as well as by using payment methods from the most popular banks through the PayU system.

We strive to select a partner who provides shirts that correspond to European size standards. Below is a table with dimensions in centimeters. If you choose the wrong size, you can change it in the registration edit section after logging into your account. Changes are possible until August 31.

However, we cannot guarantee receiving a shirt in the chosen size. Shirts are distributed based on the size indicated in the registration form, without the possibility of changing the declared size during pickup, until stocks of that size are exhausted. If the chosen size is unavailable, the participant will be offered an alternative available size.

.

Yes, according to the regulations, you can transfer the registration fee to another person who is already registered for the race. The transfer of the fee is subject to the following conditions:

c) Paying a handling fee of 30 PLN and the difference in amount if the fee for the new participant is higher than the current fee.
Registration fees for which a VAT invoice has been issued cannot be transferred to another participant.
